Google App Engine gives you the possibility to write Web applications and to deploy them on Google servers, so that those applications are very secure, fast, and especially very scalable. Currently it is still in the test phase, but as soon as that application platform will be released, it will probably perform very well.
So is this cool? It is.

You may wonder, why a company’s home page is a BLOG. Or maybe you wonder, why there is some information about a company on this BLOG.
Actually I - Thomas Eichberger - think that “times they are a changing” (Bob Dylan, of course). So a static or somehow dynamic home page is not good enough anymore for a small, innovative company like mine.
I think that one needs something more informative, more interactive, with more value for the visitor.
So the idea is to offer a lot of articles, and public and personal information about a lot of topics on this home page. And the currently best way to do this is by using great BLOG software like Wordpress.
Of course it will take some time before we can offer all those nice things here - we have to create them first -, but during time this will be a great place here…
